CM+ has undertaken the architectural design and documentation of the Motorway Control Centre as part of its work for the NorthConnex project. Its contemporary architectural expression provides a welcoming street presence on Pennant Hills Road, with solar screens on the building to the east, west and north façades further adding to its lightness and texture.
Finishes include FC panels, glass walls, and aluminium screens to create a pattern that reduces the visual bulk of the building and provides artistic expression at a scale recognisable to motorway traffic in its prominent location.
