Central Coast Public Toilet strategy by CM+

CM+ has been engaged to provide a strategic planning document as a guiding framework for the comprehensive delivery of a network of public toilet facilities across the Central Coast LGA.

Central Coast Council is dedicated in establishing Central Coast as a place that fosters high quality of life for both the community and visitors. Among the assets essential for creating livable communities, public toilets play a crucial role.

Emphasising on a holistic approach, CM+ has provided the strategy to take into account the entire life cycle of the public toilets, spanning planning, operation, maintenance, renewal and disposal.

Starting by evaluating the condition of 90 public toilets within the LGA, a detailed analysis of all 212 public toilets owned and/or managed by the council has been provided.

An implementation plan, as well as concept design guidelines, together with cost analysis has been provided in the report.
