Timbrell Park

CM+ are the architects of the City of Canada Bay’s new amenities buildings across Cintra Park, Majors Bay Reserve, Halliday Park and Timbrell Park.

Community demand arising from increased participant capacity and allocation of new sporting services has driven the upgrades and expansions of existing sports field and court facilities. Projects have included new club facilities, amenities and the design of prefabricated buildings.

As part of the 10-year initiative for the Timbrell Park Plan of Management & Masterplan, CM+ have prepared the design and provided detailing and advice during construction for a new, prefabricated, multipurpose community facility at Timbrell Park, Five Dock. The design outcome looks to connect the broader community by creating a place that serves the needs of 4 local sporting clubs and residents in the community that visit the park regularly.

The building’s design includes change rooms, public toilets, storerooms, canteen, and community rooms that are family friendly, shared-use, and accessible to the entire community including the various sport clubs who participate on the playing field, local community groups, as well as visitors from the Bay Run.
