CM+ is the Architect for Nutrisoy’s new corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in Banksmeadow NSW.
The facility is comprised of three elements, Nutrisoy’s corporate headquarters, a high-tech food and beverage manufacturing facility, and a warehouse distribution centre.
CM+ is the lead consultant and design architect providing full architectural services from feasibility/site master planning, design and development approvals, to documentation, interior design and delivery support.
The site is of an irregular shape with constrained street frontages and access, is flood affected, contaminated, and has complex easements. The CM+ team has been able to unlock and maximise the site’s potential to meet the client’s brief, achieving a site FSR of over 1:1, utilising the existing site levels for the loading dock and carpark, without the need for a separate structure.
The new facility includes a two-storey, high tech production facility and warehouse distribution centre with flexibility to enable the company to substantially increase future production capacity. Careful consideration during design enables the efficient movement of staff and vehicles throughout the facility, and across the site.
The design of Nutrisoy’s corporate headquarters reflects and elevates its brand, aligning with its vision for innovation and growth. The building facades respond to the functionality within, while their gradation of botanical hues reflect the client’s brand and organic nature of their products. A key aspect of the design is its well-presented streetscape and front-of-house experience for visitor arrivals, with landscape also designed by CM+.
The landscape design enhances the project, preserving the streetscape character through retention of the mature trees along Pater Street. Adjacent to the entry, the site’s triangular corner is transformed into a lush, biophilic space that improves overall amenity, providing staff and visitors a connected, green experience.
