The largest motorway to motorway interchange in the Southern Hemisphere, it is spread across 14 hectares and separated into four levels. The movement-filled structure was built across live traffic and includes a shared path and local road that winds through ramps connecting the M7 and M5 motorways. The interchange is dedicated to the Australian Light Horse, due to its close proximity to their former home at the Wallgrove Army Base.
