Harmony expresses a fascination for the way we live as a community. The peaceful coexistence of people in Sydney is celebrated in this installation located in the Royal Botanic Garden. The design is articulated in the form of a tree with 6000 LEDs and six pressure pads spiraling from the roots to the canopy. Each tree segment can be played like an single musical instrument in a orchestra. triggering a unique animation of light and sound when the pads are stepped on. When all pads are triggered, a mesmerising display is activated, celebrating our society’s unity and this synchronicity underscores the very essence of Harmony.
