CM+ are pleased to announce two senior appointments to our Architecture team.
Antonino Lalli is the new Director of Architecture and a key member of the practice’s leadership team. He joins CM+ after running his own practice for the last 10+ years, with a breadth of knowledge and 20 years’ experience in the design and successful delivery of large scale projects across the commercial, residential, education, industrial and mixed use sectors.
Antonino has a passion for design excellence and believes that Architecture is more than just aesthetics. It is a continuous journey with discovery and learning at its core, where new ideas are nurtured and certain risks taken along the way. It is then turned on its head, as art intersects with science during project delivery.
He will work closely with our clients and lead the CM+ Architecture team to strengthen and grow the Architecture portfolio and is “…looking forward to building on the strong Architecture and Placemaking that Darrel Conybeare and Bill Morrison have fostered over the last 40 years.”
Associate Director Jon Widagdo is a designer with extensive experience and technical ability in the architecture and interior design of retail, hospitality, industrial and a range of commercial and residential mixed use projects. He has previously worked for both Architects and Property Developers, providing him with a deep understanding of the benefits of utilising design to improve commercial outcomes. Jon has also been a Design Tutor in the Faculty of Built Environment at UNSW.
He will lead projects across the Architecture portfolio, providing design and sustainability leadership, strengthening the CM+ brand in the marketplace.
He has a keen interest and experience in the integration of biophilic design and sustainability in his work. He sees design as partnership collaboration in continuous process and pursuit of innovation and enhancing the user’s experience. Jon is ‘…looking forward to collaborating with the CM+ team to push the boundaries in architecture and design, creating spaces of design excellence’
We look forward to their significant contribution to all our architectural projects and the future strategic direction of CM+.
