The masterplanning and design of education facilities has developed over 30 years working with major universities and schools on the expansion of existing campuses and the development of greenfield sites. With a strategic urban design approach we align academic objectives to structure plans for future development and create buildings of architectural quality and excellence.

Campus masterplanning services have been sought around the world, underpinned by the masterplans prepared for all of Sydney’s universities as well as the masterplan for a new defence college in Canberra. Globally we have masterplanned a new campus in Miri, Sarawak, eight new campuses in China, and a new campus in Botswana. In Sydney our work for University of Sydney, UNSW, Macquarie University, University of Science and Technology, and the University of Western Sydney provided the basis for campus development to the extent that, 20 years later, projects were still being completed to fulfill the visionary concept plans of the time.
Our approach to campus masterplans is to provide a strong concept with a flexible structure which allows the campus to grow and expand according to the ever changing needs of the academic program, and at the same time a coherent public domain defined by a strong built form.
