Gosford Alive is a 15-20 year vision from urban renewal specialists, Lederer Property. The Master Plan prepared by Conybeare Morrison for the $650 million mixed-use development sets out an exciting proposal for a vibrant new urban precinct across a 5.8-hectare site in Gosford CBD just minutes from Gosford Train Station, that will transform Gosford CBD and create a new civic heart for the people of the Central Coast Region.
Gosford’s three core city blocks will be revitalised, transforming the ‘heart’ of the city – incorporating an exemplary Central Coast shopping experience, contemporary residential apartment accommodation, an upgraded Kibble Park, and a new public realm comprised of quality streetscapes and public plazas.
The new urban approach reimagines the city core as a great place to not only visit, but in which to live – a well-connected, permeable, sustainable city precinct that offers a convenient and high quality urban lifestyle with ready access to quality shopping, green spaces, recreational reserves and waterways, to cultural and entertainment venues, health services and to public transport.
At the heart of the precinct will be Kibble Park, reconfigured to compliment the new urban context, providing an important social focus and with a recreational program reflecting the emerging ‘city-living’ lifestyle.
