CM+ have prepared a Development Control Plan, Public Domain Plan and Implementation Plan for the 110 Ha Cessnock Commercial Precinct. CM+ worked with Cessnock City Council, to put in place the framework for Cessnock to achieve its potential as a major Regional Centre.

Amendments to the statutory planning controls, including zoning heights and FSR encourage best practice urban design and development outcomes. A proposed new Town Square is a feature of the public domain improvements, tying together the ‘Main Street’ and supermarket retail components of the Centre into a new integrated urban destination.
