A winning design entrant for a new university master plan located at Kangqiao, Shanghai has seen this project now in full operation. The new campus brings together postgraduate teaching and research facilities linked by formal and informal malls leading to street and waterways, capable of expansion over time.

The campus accommodates 2,300 students, with residential facilities interconnected by means of an iconic pedestrian bridge over the main access road. Stage 1 of the campus, the administration building, student facilities, faculty buildings and student residences. Twin administration buildings flank the main entry on the water axis, one serving University functions, and the other the focus for research activities. Four storeys in height the buildings feature an internal atrium and are linked by a two storey covered colonnade.
