CM+ was the lead designer for the development capacity master plan study to transform this underutilised precinct into an integral part of the Parramatta CBD. The site will support a mix of residential and commercial uses that will allow transformation and site assembly to occur over time. Key issues addressed included parcel assembly, sun and shade amenity, flood mitigation financial feasibility and built form controls to encourage development.
The introduction of a new green link provides a complementary gesture to the Church Street development spine reaching back to the centre of Parramatta. The plan has been translated into a series of support documents for the City to incorporate into the development process.
